1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to financialliteracysummit.pk and inquiries handled by the Financial Literacy Summit organizing team in Karachi, Pakistan. For privacy questions, contact info@financialliteracysummit.pk.
2. Information we collect
The attendee registration form collects your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, 13-digit CNIC number, organization and designation, plus the payment screenshot you upload for ticket verification. The partnership form collects your organization, contact person's name, email address, phone number, one selected partnership interest and an optional message.
We record the time of submission, your acknowledgment of this policy, acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, and any separate choice to receive future event updates. The website also processes IP addresses and limited technical information for request handling, security and abuse prevention. Do not include passwords, card PINs or complete card details in a payment screenshot.
3. How we use your information
- Verify your ticket payment, process your registration and contact you with FLS 2026 attendance information.
- Respond to and manage partnership inquiries.
- Maintain transaction and consent records, protect the website and investigate misuse.
- Send future FLS event updates only when you select the separate optional checkbox. You may withdraw that preference by email at any time.
A submitted payment screenshot is subject to verification by the FLS team; a ticket is confirmed only when the team accepts the payment and sends confirmation. We do not collect card numbers, PINs or online-banking passwords through this form.
4. Who can access it
Access is limited to the organizing team and service providers who need the information to operate the website, host its database or deliver communications. Providers may process information outside Pakistan. We do not sell personal information or provide attendee contact lists to sponsors for their own marketing without separate permission. We may disclose information when required by applicable law or to address fraud or threats to security.
5. Retention and protection
We retain registration, payment-verification and inquiry information only while it is needed to manage your ticket, the event, accounting, a continuing relationship or applicable legal obligations. Our intended review period for inactive partnership inquiries is 12 months after the last relevant interaction. Future event marketing preferences remain in effect until withdrawn or no longer needed.
Payment screenshots are stored outside the public website and are available only through authenticated administrative access. We use access controls, protected connections and other reasonable technical safeguards. No website or communication channel can provide an absolute guarantee against unauthorized access. A deletion request may take time to work through backup cycles; retained backups are not used for ordinary marketing.
6. Cookies, fonts and optional analytics
Essential session cookies support secure forms and administrator sign-in. They are not advertising cookies. This website requests fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's font servers and sends the technical information needed for that connection. System fonts are used if those requests fail.
Optional Google Analytics is disabled unless it has been configured by the organizer and you choose “Allow analytics.” If enabled, it helps measure page visits and successful inquiry submissions. The implementation sends the form type, not your name, email, phone number or message. Google may process device and usage information under its own policies. We do not enable advertising personalization through this integration.
The cookie preference is stored on your device for up to six months. You can change it using “Cookie preferences” in the footer when analytics is configured, or clear your browser storage. Choosing “Essential only” does not prevent you from submitting a form.
7. Your choices and requests
You can ask us to correct your details, provide information about the records we hold, stop future event updates or delete an inquiry that is no longer needed. Email info@financialliteracysummit.pk using the address associated with your inquiry. We may request reasonable verification before disclosing or changing records. We will explain any applicable reason that prevents deletion.
8. Young visitors and external links
If you are under 18, use the forms with a parent or guardian's knowledge and permission. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child's submission. External websites and social platforms have their own privacy practices; please review those before sharing information with them.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the summit and its services develop. We will publish the revised date here. Materially different uses of your information will be explained before they begin, and additional consent will be requested where needed.
